Custom Web Footer

The Andersen Company offers yet another value added service for our distributors! Help your distributors increase their closure rate on logo proofs, by creating “custom web footers” for them on our website.

Typical custom web footers looks like this:

As you can see it features the logo, phones, and fax numbers of the respective distributor. Distributors may also have their website address included in their footer. The distributors website address and logo may also be hot-linked to the distributors website.

The search block allows access for the distributor or customer using this footer address to search over 225,000 logos located on our main database. If a customer or distributor rep then prints any proof off while searching our database, the Distributor logo will appear at the bottom. When we send a new proof to the distributor that has the custom web footer established, it would always appear at the bottom of the proof, making the distributors presentation of the client’s logo more professional and easier for the customer to follow up. Your distributor also has the option to search “My proofs”, in which the custom web footer will appear as well.

All you have to do is have your distributor send a digital file of their logo and the contact information they wish to have on the footer to: agoswick@andersenco.com. You may also send a business card or letterhead to Anita Goswick , however email is much faster. Anita will return your custom web footer address to you and your distributor by email. As our Andersen Rep, you should then have a logo sales meeting and promotion so that distributor reps can see the benefits from using the site. You may have a branch office of a national firm that has no idea that this has already been established for their benefit.

Once your customer has received the custom web footer address, they should contact their website maintenance person(s) and have it hot-linked to their home page. I like to use the term, “Logo Mats-Fast & Fun” as a title for the icon. One may also type this address into their address bar while online, then once the footer appears save it to their favorites for easy future access. The address may be emailed around to the sales people and stored in the same manner on laptops.

Distributor reps can also search for specific types of logos, such as “Lighthouse”. We may not have done the exact Lighthouse logo of the desired customer, but by printing off several examples of this type design, we lessen the customer’s risk by showing them successful logos of this type completed. All of the examples will have your distributors logo and contact information printed at the bottom, letting the customer know that they are dealing with a professional in logo manufacturing.

I have noticed the difference in distributor sales reps, which feel that they are truly in the logo business when a presentation such as this can be made at the end user level.
